Smart Dock Functions

Assigning Sensors
Sensors are assigned to Athletes using the Smart Dock Touch Screen. Athletes must return their assigned Sensor to an available Smart Dock once their shift is complete.

Uploading Data
Once a Sensor is returned to a Smart Dock and properly seated into a Sensor Cradle, all data collected by the Sensor will be uploaded to the SafeWork System.

Sensor Charging
Smart Docks should remain plugged into an outlet and the power switch should be in the “On” position at all times during operation. Sensors must be properly seated into a Sensor Cradle for the Sensor battery to charge. A Sensor’s battery must be charged past 80% in order to be available for check out.
How to Turn On Smart Dock
Warning
The Smart Dock must be plugged into an outlet and receiving power before the Smart Dock power switch is turned "On."

Confirm Power Switch is Off
Confirm that the Power Switch on the back of the Dock is in the "Off" position.

Attach Power Supply to Smart Dock
Make sure the flat side of the connector at the end of the power supply is facing down when attaching it to the back of the Smart Dock

Attach Power Supply to Outlet
Plug the other end of the power supply into an outlet.

Turn on Smart Dock
Switch the Power Switch on the back of the Dock from "Off" to "On."
